Application of brushless DC motor

Continuous load application: mainly in areas that require a certain speed but do not require high speed accuracy, such as fans, water pumps, hair dryers and other applications, which have low cost and are mostly open-loop control.

Variable load application: mainly the application where the speed needs to change within a certain range, which has higher requirements for the speed characteristics and dynamic response time characteristics of the motor. For example, dryers and compressors in household appliances are good examples. The system cost of oil pump control, electric controller, engine control, etc. in the automotive industry is relatively higher.

Positioning application: most industrial control and automatic control applications belong to this category. Such applications often complete the transmission of energy, so there are special requirements for the dynamic response of speed and torque, and higher requirements for the controller. Photoelectricity and some synchronization equipment may be used for speed measurement. Process control, mechanical control and transportation control are many of these applications.

The practical new brushless motor is closely related to the development of electronic technology, microelectronics technology, digital technology, automatic control technology and material science. It is not only limited to AC and DC fields, but also involves electric power, energy conversion of power generation, signal sensing and other fields. There are many new types of brushless motors in the field of electrical machinery, but the application of brushless motors with excellent performance is not very extensive due to the price limit.
